Offering the smallest overall dimensions of all modules, the EM200 is an ideal choice for applications where space is at a premium. To achieve its small dimensions, the module doesn't have Ethernet magnetics onboard.

The EM200 is a dual-use device: depending on the loaded firmware it can work as a fixed-function, ready-to-run serial-to-Ethernet converter (default) or BASIC-programmable module.

As a serial-to-Ethernet converter, the EM200 allows you to quickly network-enable practically any serial device.

As a BASIC-programmable controller, the EM200 offers a low-cost, rapid development alternative to expensive and complex computing platforms, such as LINUX-based boards.
